Challenge Golf is the nation's first adaptive golf course that provides therapeutic benefits to adults and children recovering from strokes, spinal cord or brain injuries, amputations, neuromuscular disorders, as well as visual or developmental challenges. Helping Hands Hero 5k Run/Walk

Location: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH

Join us in person or virtually as we raise funds for The Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation Helping Hands Initiative to provide necessary equipment that is not covered by insurance, such as but not limited to: safe standard car seats, electrical lines for ventilators, helmets and various adaptive equipment.

Empower Little Heroes

7th Annual Ruhlin Clays Classic

A day of clay shooting, raffles, food, and fun! Experienced and novice shooters alike are encouraged to attend. Proceeds will benefit the Heart & Vascular Department Fund at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Food and drinks will be provided to all participants.

FORE Mercy's Sake Golf Outing
Date: Thursday, September 1 at 8 a.m.
Location: Glenmoor's Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, 4191 Glenmoor Road NW Canton, OH

Mercy Development Foundation will host its 8th Annual 2022 FORE Mercy's Sake Golf Outing to benefit Cleveland Clinic Mercy Cancer Center Expansion and Renovation Project.

The event will feature a double shotgun start. Registration for the Morning Flight will be at 8 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shot-gun start and registration for the Afternoon Flight will be at Noon with a 1:30 p.m. shot-gun start. Each golfer will enjoy 18 holes of golf with a cart. The outing will feature great food along with unlimited beverages out on the course. Trophies/prizes will be awarded to the top team, closest to the pin, longest drive and longest putt challenge holes.

VeloSano

We’re excited to host an in-person Bike to Cure weekend in 2022! Join us September 9-10 as a Rider, Virtual Fundraiser (participate anytime, anywhere and in any way you choose) or as a Volunteer. Latin for “swift cure” - VeloSano is a year-round fundraising initiative to support life-saving cancer research at Cleveland Clinic. Since the inaugural ride in 2014, nearly $30 million has been raised and 1OO% of those funds are hard at work in the fight against cancer.

Brain Aneurysm Awareness 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

The Cleveland Clinic Cerebrovascular Center presents the Brain Aneurysm Awareness 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk. This race seeks to raise awareness, celebrate survivors, and raise money for brain aneurysm and hemorrhagic stroke support and research. Proceeds will go to Cleveland Clinic brain aneurysm patient support services and research.

Drive Out Cancer
Date: Monday, September 12 at 10 a.m.
Location: Topgolf Cleveland, 5820 Rockside Woods Blvd North, Independence, OH

Join us at Drive Out Cancer 2022! Private bays for your group of 6 players with the exclusive Top Contender Tournament Game. The event is suitable for golf aficionados, as well as novices coming to enjoy a day of fun and support the Patient Assistance Fund. Tournament Ambassadors will be on hand to provide a game demo and the Golf Pro will facilitate the tournament - along with some fun competition. Live team leaderboard across TVs in all event bays will heat up the competition and prizes awarded for top Teams. The Outing directly benefits our patients by supporting their cost of living expenses while they undergo cancer treatment at Hillcrest Hospital. John Wroe Memorial Golf Outing

Raising Hope One Glass at a Time
Date: Saturday, October 1 at 1 p.m.
Location: Corkscrew Saloon, 811 West Liberty St, Medina OH

We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday as we raise funds for oncology patient services at Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime between 1:00 and 3:00 to socialize in a very casual atmosphere while enjoying the music of The Adjustments. This casual afternoon open house features wine samplings accompanying a variety of appetizers, additional beverages, and desserts. Raising Hope also includes live music and an online auction.

Proceeds will be used by oncology staff to improve patient care and outcomes. Examples include pharmacy co-payments for patients in need, snacks during long treatment days and milestone celebrations.

Brakes for Breasts

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the month of October, participating independent auto repair shops will provide free brake pads with every brake repair purchase (customers will only pay for any additional parts and labor). Plus, 10% of the cost of each brake repair will be donated to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research. Founded in 2011, Brakes for Breasts has raised over $1.4 million of which every single penny has gone directly to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research.

7th Annual Head for the Cure 5K

Join Head for the Cure Foundation at the 7th Annual Head for the Cure 5K in Cleveland on Saturday, October 8th at Edgewater Park. This event begins at 8 AM and will feature a timed 5K run/walk, local businesses, and connect brain tumor Survivors and their families. Your support and participation helps fund patient programs and clinical trials at Rose Ella Burkhardt Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center at the Cleveland Clinic and other national brain cancer programs, education, and initiatives.

WQMX 4th Annual 5Kay

Never Forget Nolan James

In honor of Infant Loss Awareness Month, and our son Nolan James, we will be holding our second annual reverse raffle/fundraiser to benefit the NICU at Cleveland Clinic Children's. Our goal is to raise enough money for the NICU to purchase a special piece of equipment to help care for these special babies, like Nolan! Each ticket is $50 and it will double as a single entry into the reverse raffle with a grand prize of $1500. A catered dinner and Beer/Wine are included. (may bring own liquor- mixers provided). Beats for a Cure

Beats for a Cure is an award winning event* to raise funds for breast cancer research and support to those currently affected. The event happens every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Over the past two years and with the support of over 100 DJs and streamers, Beats for a Cure has raised almost $50,000 for the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center.

ClinicPRIDE is partnering with local apparel company, Where I’m From, to create Cleveland Clinic-themed Pride t-shirts in celebration of this year’s Pride month and march. 100% of the proceeds from shirt sales will be donated to Cleveland Clinic’s Center for LGBTQ+ Care. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) patients have historically been an underserved community with unique health needs. Cleveland Clinic’s Center for LGBTQ+ Care includes providers who understand the health needs of LGBTQ+ patients, and provides access to specialists with expertise in LGBTQ+ care. The center aims to eradicate long-standing health disparities while furthering the care, research, educational and service goals of Cleveland Clinic.
